Firmware update - Ether Dream 2, 3, and 4
Important: please update to the latest firmware, as it includes important fixes.
Download the update file for your Ether Dream according to the table below.

- Connect your computer to the Ether Dream with a USB type C cable (ED3/ED4) or USB type B cable (ED2). Be sure to use a cable that supports a data connection - some USB C cables are "charge only". It will appear as a small USB mass storage device (flash drive).
- Replace the existing firmware file on the Ether Dream with the one you downloaded. Be sure the existing file on the drive has the expected name.
- "Eject" or "safely remove hardware" the Ether Dream.
- Disconnect the Ether Dream from your computer.

The Ether Dream driver implements several APIs for remote control of Ether Dream devices. No installation or setup is needed, other than putting EtherDream.dll in the drivers directory of the application software.
