Note: if you're using LSX, use the EtherDream.dll that came with your LSX distribution. Contact Innolasers for the latest software version.
The Ether Dream driver implements several APIs for remote control of Ether Dream devices. No installation or setup is needed, other than putting EtherDream.dll in the drivers directory of the application software.

This tool will locate and display basic information about any Ether Dream visible on the local network:

Firmware update - Ether Dream 3
Important: please update to the latest firmware, as it includes important fixes.
The latest Ether Dream 3 firmware is available here (
ed3v86-c18d76b
). Update steps:- Download ed3.elf.
- Connect the USB type C port on the ED3 to your computer with a USB type C cable. Be sure to use a cable that supports a data connection - some USB C cables are "charge only". It will appear as a small USB mass storage device (flash drive).
- Replace the existing
ed3.elf
with the one you downloaded. - "Eject" or "safely remove hardware" the ED3.
- Disconnect the ED3 from your computer.
Firmware update - Ether Dream 2
The latest ED2 firmware is available here (

). Update steps:- Download and unzip ed2fw.zip to obtain an
ed2.fw
file. - Connect the ED2 to your computer with a USB cable. It will appear as a small USB mass storage device (flash drive).
- Replace the existing
ed2.fw
with the one you extracted. - "Eject" or "safely remove hardware" the ED2.
- Disconnect the ED2 from your computer.
